LYD: Chapter 11 Part 2
Cheating (2)
Before the last exam in the afternoon of the next day, Ning Zhen had an accident.
Xie Yu threw black ink on her.
The ink smudged her white school uniform and quickly stained a large area.
Ning Zhen stood up and looked back at her. Xie Yu held a pen in her hand. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to."
But there was no hint of apology on her face. She raised her chin and looked at her as if saying, " What? You can't do anything to me even if I did it on purpose?
Ning Zhen was not without a temper. "Xie Yu, you did it on purpose."
Ning Zhen's eyes were calm. "People shouldn't do too many bad things, what do you think? Our seats are so far apart, even if you want to use a pen, ink can't be thrown so accurately. Everyone has eyes to see."
Many students who were watching the excitement nodded.
Xie Yu couldn't maintain her expression, and her face was slightly red. She didn't expect Ning Zhen to point it out. This same tablemate had always been like a soft bun, and she thought she would endure it silently when she was angry.
Yu Shanshan also turned around and glanced at the two of them. There was no emotion on her face, and she quickly turned back.
Ning Zhen didn't wait for her to answer. She glanced at her watch. There were 18 minutes before the exam. She planned to go to the toilet to clean up the ink. Ink wasn't easy to wash, and it was even more difficult to wash off after a long time. The school uniform had to be worn for more than a year, which was not very good.
She turned on the faucet and roughly washed the string of ink stains on the back of her clothes. The ink stain spread slowly into a large patch.
The clothes stuck to her body coldly, which was very unpleasant. Fortunately, it is summer, so she won't catch a cold.
Ning Zhen hurried back to the classroom before the exam.
She let out a sigh of relief. The last one was the comprehensive exam for maths and sciences. After the exam, she could go back to change her clothes.
When the bell rang, she lowered her head to fill in her exam number.
Ning Zhen did Physics first. The exam science exam took a total of 150 minutes. She allocated the time to forty, fifty, and sixty minutes for each component of the science paper. She did physics the fastest, leaving her enough time to focus on chemistry and biology.
The invigilator, wearing high heels, checked the admission ticket and the exam number.
She stopped beside Ning Zhen, picked up the admission ticket, frowned, and turned it over to look...
"Student." The invigilator knocked on her desk.
Ning Zhen raised her eyes.
"Get up. You cheated. Your results in this subject are invalid. Now go to the podium and sign your name. You don't need to take the test." No teacher would like a student who cheated. The invigilator's tone was harsh, and her eyes were cold.
Ning Zhen's heart sank, and she looked at the admission ticket in the teacher's hand.
In the transparent interlayer on the back of the admission ticket was a piece of paper filled with physics formulas. It was impossible to notice it if it wasn't turned over.
"Teacher, this is not mine. I didn't cheat." Ning Zhen bit her lip.
With such a huge thing happening, every gaze looked over overtly and secretly.
The invigilator hated students who made excuses even more. "The evidence is here. Do you want to say that it's not cheating if you haven't had time to read it? Now, get out! Don't affect other students' exams!"
Ning Zhen signed and walked out of the classroom. The noon sun stung her eyes. The entire Third High School was taking exams, so the campus was quiet.
The branches of the Chinese parasol trees were filled with lush leaves, and the sound of cicadas seemed to have disappeared in the hot afternoon.
She squatted down and hugged her knees. Her eyes were so sore they hurt.
It was like this again... it was always like this...
Ning Zhen rubbed her eyes. Don't cry. Only those who have done something wrong should cry.
To live another lifetime, even if nothing else improves, you must at least learn to be stronger.
Ning Zhen got up and went downstairs.
Xiao Feng chose C for all the multiple-choice questions. He randomly wrote two formulas for the major questions that seemed Ok to him.
It was just after noon, and the sun was hanging high outside. Above his head, the outmoded fan rotated wobbly. Xiao Feng was lying on his desk, not bothering to hand in his paper ahead of time. It was so hot outside that going out was looking to suffer.
He glanced at Lu Zhi, who was in front of him.
Tsk tsk. When Brother Zhi is serious, he looks handsome from the side.
This was the first time Xiao Feng saw Lu Zhi taking the exam so seriously. If it wasn't for the invigilator staring at him, Xiao Feng wanted to lean over and say, "Brother Zhi, why are you, this old man, staring so intently for a long time yet you haven't written with your pen? The exam paper is already trembling from you stare."
If you don't know how to do it, what is the point of being brave?
His line of sight strayed outside.
What the hell ...that's...
Xiao Feng thought his eyesight was wrong. He took a few more glances, snuck out the phone hidden in his trouser pocket, and glanced at it. No way, the exam started 10 mins ago, and someone was already submitting their papers early. It can't be that exaggerated, right?
"pusi~pusi~" Xiao Feng signaled in Lu Zhi's direction, but Lu Zhi was too far away to hear.
"Cough! Cough!"
Lu Zhi finally frowned and looked back at him coldly - Want to die? Can't you see that Laozi is doing exam questions?
Xiao Feng glanced outside, motioning Lu Zhi to look over.
Lu Zhi followed and looked over. His eyes darkened.
Get up and go outside.
The invigilator's eyes widened. "Student, what are you doing?"
"Turn in your papers!"
